Western’s African Experiences Abroad is a combination of reflections from Western students participating in placements in Africa.

Experiences Abroad is a collection of reflections written by Western students who are either part of the MMASc in Global Health Systems in Africa graduate program or who took part in a Summer Field School in Africa. Every summer, Western students travel to Africa to undertake placements in African communities-at-risk and to expose them to theoretical and applied aspects of complex problems so innovative solutions can be formed.  For more information on the MMASc program please visit: http://www.uwo.ca/africainstitute/programs/MMASc_GHS.html
