A cold, blustery Friday night, during a hectic point in the winter semester, didn’t stop the Global Health Systems in Africa (GHS-A) students from the Professional and Collaborative programs to give back to those in need.
Donned with lunch bags full of food, warm winter coats and holiday cheer, the students set forth across the city to share with those most disadvantaged.
The event, organized by MMASc in GHS-A students Leah Rosenkrantz and Carolyn Spiegel-Feld, offered a unique opportunity for new students to become familiar with London, and for returning students to see our community from a new perspective.
Friendships were borne and others strengthened while all came together with a common understanding of humanity and a desire to help those most in need.
What an amazing way to start the holiday season!
